The other things: I earned an MA in Humanities from the University of Chicago, and a BA in English literature and history from Western Colorado University. I am, essentially, a research nerd with magpie tendencies to collect shiny, random bits of facts and information.

I have a diverse professional background as a college instructor, brand copywriter, and consultant, with clients ranging from fortune 500 companies to small non-profits.

I live in Alaska with my partner, two very energetic puli dogs, and a flock of highly opinionated chickens.
